I’m truly privileged to live in a little coastal village called “Dog Stone Bay” (Hondeklip Bay) in the heart of Namaqualand, surrounded by unique photographic opportunities only to be found in this part of the world. Besides the amazing wild flowers in the area, the rugged West Coast seascapes, ship wrecks and awe-inspiring sand dunes are but a few of the many reasons why keen photographers from all over the world flock here to capture their essence of light.
